Worst MRI installation of all time?

The pictures shown here come from an installation in San Antonio, TX done by a West Coast firm in 1999.

How do you think the customer liked the look of this console room?

The cables were not meant for this filterplate so the installers cut them and spliced them across the filters.

Excess cable was stuffed behind the wall in a huge tangled mess.

The installers and the contractors apparently agreed that the cabinets did not need to be covered while sheetrock work was completed.

The image quality was improved considerably after we pulled all the cabling out and redid it.

The general concensus between the Siemens engineers who retained us to fix this mess and ourselves was that, in the cumulative two centuries of experience we had as a group, we'd never seen anything like this. This installation was so bad, it had to be willful.
