Sloppy Installation

These pictures were taken in early 2003 on a new site where an ISO had reinstalled a system.

The roof leaks right between the electrical cutouts for the system.

The chilled water supply and return lines were backwards so the hoses had to be swapped.

Chilled water running into the scan room for the magnet through an unpatched hole in the ceiling - a major RF leak. This is a non-conductive pipe so the effect is a large hole (~2 inches) that the RF can pass through.

A hole in the RF screen of a "brand new" room window.

The penetration panel has a number of loose bolts.

Another view of the penetration panel from the other side.

Someone forgot to put in a bolt. Later it was patched with metal tape.

Apparently they ran out of bolts. First screws were used on the bottom and later metal tape patches.
