(Hopefully) The Worst Deinstallation of All Time

This is a scanner we purchased for parts from a warehouse in the Northeast. The seller claimed they were planning to reinstall it, but had a "change in plans". We're wondering if the change occurred after the owner saw what the deinstallers did to the scanner.

A giant box filled with dirty, unpacked coils thrown in with table pads and anything else that would fit. There is not one bit of protective packing material in this entire container.

Another shot of the jumble of coils. Amazingly, all of the coils tested OK after we cleaned them up.

We call this one "The Spaghetti Box". It took a couple of days to untangle and repack the items in this box.

Another shot of "The Spaghetti Box".

This handy trashcan was used to pack the manuals and a very expensive TRIMM box with a 1.7 GB MO drive. The trashbag was the only protection used on any piece of equipment in the entire delivery.

Another shot of the trash can as delivered.

This one is legendary. I don't imagine we'll ever see one worse than it.
