The critical question to ask when selecting a service or equipment provider is "does this firm really know what they're doing?" One sure sign of trouble is a firm that claims to be able to do it all.
The reason we focus on Siemens MRI - and only Siemens MRI - is we're very good at it. We have five decades of Siemens experience on staff. And we don't get involved in other modalities or manufacturers because we would not be able to deliver a comparable level of service. The number one cause of failed projects is well-intentioned service companies getting in over their heads on equipment they don't understand.
We do service on Siemens MRI scanners - primarily on a Time and Materials basis1. We are able to service any Siemens Impact, Impact Expert, Open, Open Viva, Vision, Symphony, Harmony or Sonata with a valid service key2.
Service and planned maintenance is billed at our standard daily rate plus expenses. For most of our service clients, a regularly scheduled maintenance at a 4-6 week interval and the occasional service call takes care of their maintenance needs at a significant savings over a full-service contract.
Our standard maintenance includes:
- OEM-mandated safety checks and routine maintenance.
- Perform all standard image quality checks.
- Test all coils for performance.
- Check coldhead (if mounted).
- Do routine software maintenance.

(2) Siemens standard DMLA agreements are set at a maximum of 1 year duration. We can help you determine if your current license is still active before you need it in an emergency. It's a good idea to get in touch with us if you're not sure. Otherwise, you'll probably lose an extra day or two waiting for Siemens to generate the key - something we're sure you want to avoid.
