The critical question to ask when selecting a service or equipment provider is "does this firm really know what they're doing?" One sure sign of trouble is a firm that claims to be able to do it all.
The reason we focus on Siemens MRI - and only Siemens MRI - is we're very good at it. We have five decades of Siemens experience on staff. And we don't get involved in other modalities or manufacturers because we would not be able to deliver a comparable level of service. The number one cause of failed projects is well-intentioned service companies getting in over their heads on equipment they don't understand.
Our relationship with most of the mainstream equipment dealers in the USA allows us to buy equipment at wholesale prices and offer it to you on an ala-carte or turnkey basis. We can provide any or all of the following services:
- Equipment location and purchasing1
- Pre-purchase testing
- Removal and transport
- Interim storage at our facility2
- Refurbishment and restoration3
- Reinstallation and startup
- Post-installation service and parts
(2) We have capacity for long-term storage of four MRIs at our facility. This can be very important if your new facility is not ready to accept the equipment. Please refer to facility services for more information.
(3) Don't be fooled by companies claiming to sell "refurbished" MRI systems. There's not a lot to rebuild on an MRI. There aren't very many mechanical parts that wear out other than the compressor and coldhead. A refurbished system from JDIS will have a newly rebuilt coldhead and compressor, new gas lines and all cosmetically damaged items repaired or replaced from our extensive inventory. We guarantee it in writing.
