Warranty and returns
When comparing prices for parts, be sure to consider like items. Another vendor may have a lower price, but are they warrantying the part? Is it fully tested with a documented history? All vendors and parts are not the same. You might be saving a few $ at first, but if your scanner's not up tomorrow because the part's DOA, you have to start all over again. You can always ask us to match a documented price. If it's reasonable, we probably will.
We carry a full line of parts for the Siemens Symphony, Harmony, Vision, Open/Viva, Open, Impact and Impact Expert. Our pricing is based on a discount from the manufacturer's charges. Symphony and Harmony parts are considered Tier 1 items1. All others are considered Tier 2 items2. Further discounts are made available to our repeat customers.
In all cases, we rebuild (as necessary) and test our parts and most are covered by our 90-day warranty. We do not resell parts from other companies3 because we can't guarantee the stringent quality control employed here. Most firms in this business do not have the ability to test items in house like JDIS, and we want to keep our reputation for very low failure rates intact.
(2) Tier 2 pricing is 45-55% of the OEM price for outright and exchange sales. Our costs for these items are lower and we pass the savings on to our clients.
